Plants grow when they collect sun light and water from their leaves and roots. Their roots get longer and their stem gets taller. Sun flowers collect a lot of sun so they get much taller and bigger than other flowers.
ANIMALS
Animals grow when they gain many proteines and vitamines. Animals grow by stretching their bones. Animal has a growing system that helps to grow.
METAMORPHOSIS A very big change that some animals or insects go through when they grow, for example a caterpillar to a butterfly and a tadpole to a frog.
LAYERS IN THE RAIN FOREST
Rain forest trees grow like animals and humans. But they grow differently, the rain forest trees grow in layers. The top of the trees are called Emergent trees and the Canopy, they are the trees that get more sun light. The Middle Layer and the Forest Floor are the layers which get less sunlight. The forest floor can be quite dark.
